The Admiral McHardy Way is a 16.3km (10m) walk. Admiral McHardy was the first Chief Constable of Essex in the year 1840.
The walk was dedicated to the founding father of the Essex Police to commemorate the 150 years of the force. There are waymarks, and the route is shown on the Little Baddow Footpaths Map. To view that map click here.
