Little Baddow Open Gardens was held on 27th May 2017 (11:00 am to 5:00 pm)
This traditional village event, which has been running for more than 25 years, showcases a wide variety of lovely gardens open, from sweeping landscapes with views over beautiful countryside, to delightful small cottage gardens packed with flowers and vegetables.
The historic 11th Century Church and 18th Century Chapel were open at times as well as a range of additional facilities and attractions including;
Refreshments in some gardens; Ploughman’s lunches and plant sales at the Memorial Hall; Boat trips from Paper Mill Lock; Cricket match on the sports field; Art Exhibition in St Andrew’s Rooms; Classic cars on display at Riffhams; History Centre Exhibition; Clog-Morris dancing at the Generals Arms pub; KEGS Corps of Drums at Riffhams; Pimms and Prosecco tent in a garden with music by Flautista.
Tickets cost £5 in advance (£6 on the day) from Meacock and Jones, Danbury. Tel; 01245 222856 and, on the day, from all open gardens.
Free parking and Free courtesy buses all day between car parks and around gardens. Car parks are well sign-posted throughout the village. For Satnav users, the postcode of the main car park is CM3 4AX.

Funds raised will go towards the repair and maintenance of the beautiful village church (St. Mary’s) and the community rooms in St Andrew’s and will enable us to focus our other fundraising efforts on other charities.
